Tell it what happened
Message the assistant the way you’d text a coordinator: “I was out at 8pm,” “New gig for PMG, show 3/14,” or “Am I free the 25th?” It works out the show and the date, saves the change, and asks when something’s missing.
Madry is an AI assistant for freelance production professionals. From calendar holds to invoices, it helps keep every show organized.
Most freelancers keep dates in a calendar, call times in texts, and hours in a spreadsheet, then piece the show back together to invoice. With Madry, you tell the assistant what happened and it does the entry: holds on your calendar, hours with your overtime applied, receipts attached to the right show, and the invoice sent when it wraps.
$30 USD/month. Cancel anytime. A free workspace, without the assistant or Madry email, is also available.

You get your own Madry email address. Forward a booking email or receipt with a note about the show and what you want done: add a hold, update dates, or log an expense. Only addresses you mark as trusted can give it instructions.
Holds, confirmed bookings, and personal time live on one calendar, so the assistant can tell you if you’re free before you answer. Share a link and clients can check your availability themselves.
Send a photo or PDF and Madry reads the receipt, categorizes the expense, and files it with the show.
Madry calculates your hours against your day rate, minimums, overtime, rounding, and turnaround rules, then builds the invoice with your expenses and original receipts and sends it to your client for you.
Upload show files into a private library.
Madry is built for event and broadcast freelancers who manage their own bookings, work with multiple clients, and need to keep track of what each show involves and pays.
Founder & builder
I’ve spent the last 15 years with one foot in software and the other producing live events.
On the software side, I co-founded SHOFLO and Stream Monkey, where I worked on engineering and product. If you’re curious, my work history and production portfolio cover both halves.
I built Madry for the parts of a freelance day that happen around the shows: checking a hold, finding a call time, logging a late out. It’s the tool I’d want for myself as a freelance producer.

Sign up with Google or email and choose the $30/month plan. Payment is handled by Stripe. Prefer to start without AI? Choose the free workspace and add the assistant later.
Choose your Madry address and which email addresses can give the assistant instructions. Connect your Google calendars whenever you need them.
Send the dates, venue, and rate in chat, or forward a booking email from a trusted address. Send hours and receipts as you go, and when the show wraps, the assistant builds and sends the invoice.
Ask in chat or email your Madry address from a trusted address to save show dates, in and out times, expenses with receipts, and contact details. When a show wraps, it builds the invoice and sends it to your client. It also answers questions from your records, like whether you’re free on a date. You can check and edit everything it saves in your workspace.
The AI assistant and your own Madry email address. The assistant saves your bookings, hours, and receipts from chat or email, and builds and sends your invoices. The workspace itself is free. Billing is monthly in USD.
Yes. If you’d rather enter everything yourself, the workspace is free without the assistant or Madry email, with no card required. You can add the assistant later.
Cancel in the billing portal whenever you choose. The assistant and email stay on through the end of your paid period. After that you keep the free workspace, and your records stay available and editable.
No. Start by telling the assistant about your next show. Every booking, contact, and rate you add gives it more to work with, so it can check your availability, fill in details, and answer questions about past shows. The more you use it, the more it can do for you.
Madry starts with common production defaults: a 10-hour day, time-and-a-half for the next 2 hours, double time after that, a 10-hour minimum, and turnaround pay when you get less than 8 hours of rest. You can change any of these for each show, along with rounding.
